Publishes notarized MATE Test 0.1.44 from Dev source b08b62e39fd4f64ff327709e2267ccc5216e1ed3. The package uses the classic chat interface; the experimental local agent workspace and harness are absent from the source and packaged resources. The updater uses the canonical master TEST endpoint. Production is unchanged at 0.1.36.
Validation: Desktop JavaScript and Rust tests, Rust formatting, embedded UI lint and tests, notarization/stapling/Gatekeeper, updater signature/trust-key verification, DMG integrity, and HTTP/checksum verification of every uploaded artifact. The installed 0.1.42 app detected, downloaded, installed and relaunched as 0.1.44, preserving authentication and chat history.
Runtime finding: a temporary cloud chat receives its answer, then displays a DataCloneError from the Desktop temporary-conversation copy. A narrowly scoped source fix and regression test are prepared separately; PROD activation is held pending the decision on that fix.
Merged with the explicitly authorized temporary admin-enforcement exception; the original branch-protection rule is restored and verified, including admin enforcement and protected file patterns.
